Aaah, the NBA. Where do I begin? Let's start close to home...

THE KNICKS
Whatever. All that talent and they can't click as a unit. I feel bad, but I root for the opposing team 90% of the time. Is that wrong?

THE NETS
Think Vince Carter will help? Maybe marketability, but not basketball. Especially since Jefferson is out now. They got the better bargain than Toronto (Williams & Williams? C'mon!). But you just CAN'T win with Jason Collins on your team.

THE CAVS
Lebron is the best...present and future, period! I wanna see the Cavs and Heat for the East finals.

THE SUNS
I love this fuckin team. Run, run, run!! All day. Score 180 points a fuckin game if possible. Run the court like a mad man and rain down 3 pointers. Amare is the future, Nash is the veteran, Q, Matrix and Joe Johnson are the now. Barbosa is nice too. Western Conference finals most likely. Their December 17th game against the Sonics was so dope I stayed up to watch the recap at 3AM when I had to go to a wedding at 5AM.

THE WIZARDS
After I dissed them in "Alley Oop", I guess I gotta eat my words. They look good in the east, they're fun to watch and Larry Hughes is the truth.

THE MAGIC
They got rid of Cuttino Mobley for Doug Christie? Now I caan't support them. Jameer Nelson is the real deal though. It's a crime he wasn't drafted higher.

THE SIXERS
You mean AI, Andre Iggy and those other guys? I want AI to get a ring, but how grim that looks now.

THE SONICS
Sa-prize bitch!!!! Everybody slept on these dudes, but now they bustin everybody's ass. My only concern is they live and die by the 3 point shot, but they're fun to watch and will make the Western semi's. I ain't been a Sonics follower since the mid 90's, so it's good to be back.

THE ROCKETS
I love the city of Houston for bringing us Rap-A-Lot records, the Oilers (back in the day), Geto Boys and Devin the Dude. But the Rockets gotta go. Yao & T-Mac, the perfect combo? Naah, more like the perfect crock. As much as T-Mac can score, that dude can't make people around him better. Yao ain't mean enough. That means the Rockets are hot margarine (read:soft).

THE MAVS
Western Conference semi's at least. Their bench is deep, so they'll be aight.

THE HEAT
Dwayne Wade is the TRUTH! They're takin it ALL in June.

THE PISTONS
You can never underestimate the world champs, even though their play has been a lil suspect lately. Let's just hope they don't get like the Lakers of a few years ago and think they can turn it on and off...cause an underdog will bust they ass like they did the Lakers last year.

THE PACERS
Losin the Treacherous 3 (O'Neal, Artest & Jackson) cause of that brawl hurt them, but it also showed that Tinsley and Fred Jones can step up. Don't sleep, they'll battle with Detroit get to the Eastern semi's.

THE LAKERS
Kobe is one of the best in the NBA, but he's also a punk. He gotta learn to trust his teammates for them to get to the playoffs. I predict the 7 or 8 seed in the West...and out in the first round.

THE CELTICS
I don't care how far they go this season, I still got love for this team cause they beat the Knicks at home by 35 on opening night...and Ricky Davis is the muthafuckin TRUTH!

THE JAZZ
What the fuck happened? AK-47, they need you! Better yet, John Stockton, they need you!

THE TIMBERWOLVES

THE NUGGETS
See my comments on the Timberwolves. Carmelo is OVERRATED! And oh so soft.

THE SPURS
Watchin them is like watching traffic on the Van Wyck Expressway at 6PM. But Tony Parker is mad nice, Duncan is fundamental like a muthafucka and they play D. I never liked this team, but they'll go far in the playoffs in the West...at least the semis, if not the finals.

THE KINGS
