GIMME DAT BEAT FOOL!
Extreme boredom over the Christmas hoidays sparked some inspiration in J-Zone. That fool don't celebrate no holidays, so he took the downtime to work 24/7 and create Gimme Dat Beat Fool!: The J-Zone Remix Project. After numerous requests from DJ Contakt and many fans via e-mail, Zone finally remixed some of his favorite rappers songs with his own beats as a lil experiment. We'll leave it to y'all to decide if he did his thizzle or not. Limited pressing available in February. Keep an eye out for it, cause once it's gone, there ain't no mo!
BO$$ HOGGIN'
J-Zone and Celph Titled, rap's #1 collabo team, have extended the tradition of 2003's "Eatadiccup" and last year's "$poiled Rotten". Yes, bitch, Zone and Celph have begun work on a full length LP as rap's exciting new duo, tentatively called The Bo$$ Hogg Barbarian$. Recording has begun and manners are at an all time low and trash talk is at an all time high. We'll spill more details over time, but it'll be here before you know it. 2005 is the year of the Hogg!
GREATER LATER
The second single from A Job Ain't Nuthin But Work is "Greater Later" (Remix) featuring Devin the Dude b/w the original version and the previously unreleased "The Art Of Shit Talkin'". In stores now!!!
PROPS...
J-Zone completed another successful year in 2005 as evidenced in hiphopsite.com's year in review. Zone found a home in the Top 10 underground producer category for the third time in the last 4 years and his A Job Ain't Nuthin But Work LP made the Top 10 indie album list.
Well, that's it for now. Don't forget to check the Hot Sauce page for more basketball trash talkin'. We out like Kobe's wife after she gets paid...
